Our Absolute Commitment to Safety
At Mistley Kids Club, the safety and well-being of your children is our highest priority. Claire & Julie enforce rigorous safeguarding policies to ensure a secure, inclusive, and nurturing play setting.
🛡️ Safeguarding Standards
- 100% DBS Certified: Every single playworker and helper holds an active, clear Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check.
- Pediatric First Aid: All senior team leaders are certified in Level 3 Pediatric First Aid (St John Ambulance).
- Ofsted Standards: We operate strictly in line with early years and voluntary child register guidelines (MET status achieved).
- Safe Staffing Ratios: We maintain strict supervisor-to-child ratios, with dedicated 1-to-1 SEN playworkers where required.
- Regular Training: All staff undertake annual courses in safeguarding children, food hygiene, and SEN inclusivity development.
